The Project
Intellectual Multiverse
The “Intellectual Multiverse” project aims to promote educational equity through the use of an alternative methodology based on multiple intelligences, which develops the potential of each person in non-formal education for adults with fewer opportunities. The project is based on the theory of Howard Gardner, who argues that there are no students who are intelligent in only one way in their cognitive development, but that each person may have more or less developed different intelligences that vary according to their context. For this reason, we will study the 8 types of intelligence proposed by the author:
- Linguistic and Logical-mathematical intelligences.
- Musical intelligence.
- Spatial and Corporal intelligences.
- Intrapersonal and Interpersonal intelligences.
- Natural intelligence.
The project will have a duration of 24 months and will be carried out thanks to the support of 5 partners:
- Fundación ASPAYM Castilla y León (Spain) – Coordinator.
- CEIPES – International Centre for the Promotion of Education and Development (Italy).
- Rosto Solidário: Organisation for human and social development (Portugal).
- Fundación Plan B Educación Social (Spain).
- Gamma Institute – Institute for Research and Study of Quantum Consciousness (Romania).

Objectives

General objective
The general objective guiding the project is to promote educational equity through the use of an alternative methodology based on multiple intelligences, which develops the potential of each person in non-formal education for adults with fewer opportunities.
-
To improve the capacities of adult educators to recognise and respond to individual educational needs, adapting to the context and circumstances of each learner and to the priority skills to be worked on.
-
Fostering didactic strategies that avoid frustration and nurture motivation in non-formal education for adults with fewer opportunities.

Other specific objectives:
- To provide adult educators with strategies to overcome the learning difficulties of their learners through individual motivations.
- To promote self-confidence and motivation in the educational environment of adults with fewer opportunities.
- To know and promote collaborative work between entities working in the social field with people with fewer opportunities from different target groups through the Erasmus+ programme, providing knowledge and experience in activities related to inclusion and gamification.
- To build collaboration agreements and good relations between European organisations with common interests.
